ROB ZOMBIE Covers METALLICA, EURYTHMICS At Connecticut Show: Video Available
September 9, 2006A BLABBERMOUTH.NET visitor has submitted the following report:
"On September 5, 2006, ROB ZOMBIE played a somewhat 'secret' show (as in, not posted on the band's website) at Toad's Place, a small legendary club in New Haven, CT, and played several covers that he usually does not play live. This show was separate from the current tour with GODSMACK, and no one opened. He came on at 10:00 p.m. and the band was very relaxed because they didn't have to worry about setlist, show length, or a curfew. I was able to record 'Enter Sandman' and 'Sweet Dreams' with my digital camera. Links to the videos are below. He also played a BILLY IDOL medley and 'Sweet Home Alabama'."

ROB ZOMBIE's third single, "Let It All Bleed Out", from his "Educated Horses" CD went for radio adds last month. This track comes on the heels of the successful single "American Witch", which Zombie performed on CBS-TV's "The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on August 11.
"Educated Horses" entered The Billboard 200 at No. 5 and has sold 364,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Zombie recently announced that he will direct a new version of the classic 1978 horror film "Halloween", with an October 2007 release planned.
